On October 18th 1997, a beautiful Saturday afternoon, I took some pictures on my Apple QuickTake 150 (only 320 x 256 resolution) of the early stages of the erection of the Millennium Dome (now the O2 Arena) and the adjacent North Greenwich Station portal. These have now been converted in to an animated GIF at 640 x 480 resolution in order to include some individual captions.
